Remove linksYou can easily remove all of the links from the comments of your blog by pacing some codes in your template. Now you may have a question that why you will remove links for the comment body. Removing links from the comment body will help you to avoid comment spam. There are a lot of people using bots to promote their products or sites. These bots will come to your site, make some meaningless comments and put some links in the comment body. There is no reason to publish these comments but you can encourage those people not to send bots to your site by disabling links in the comment section of your blog. Let’s see how we can remove all links from the comment body.

How we can remove links

  • Log in to your blogger dashboard
  • Go to Template --> Edit HTML
  • Now you need to make some changes. Create back up your template.
  • Press CTRL+F to search and find </body> tag
  • Then copy and paste the below codes above the </body> tag.
<script src='https://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.8.3/jquery.min.js'/>
<script>$('.comment-content a[rel$=nofollow]').replaceWith(function(){return ($(this).text());});</script>
Attention: If the red highlighted code is already in your template then no need to paste it again. Just paste the black code above the </body> tag.
  • Now save your template and check your blog.
If you are facing any problem removing links or the code is not working in your blog feel free to inform me in comments. Please subscribe to our RSS feed to get updated with our recent posts.

Suppose, you have a blog and some of your blog posts get well ranked in search engines. These blog posts drive a nice traffic to your blog but the visitors come to your blog and read only those blog posts. After reading those posts they don’t touch any other post, just leave. You want to attract the readers to read your other articles but can’t. If that’s your problem then I say “No Problem”. Today I’m going to share some tips on encouraging the visitors to read your other blog posts.

Widgets can solve your problem

There are several widgets you can use to attract the visitors. Two of these are my personal favorite.

One is nRelate related posts widget.  First go to nRelate.com and register for a free account. Click on “Install” from the navigation bar, choose your blog platform and add the widget. You can edit this widget from “Manage Settings” tab. This widget is very helpful to make readers stay on your site. It also attracts the visitors to read your other posts. You can also earn through this widget.

Another is “Recommended Post” widget. When your visitors slide down on your blog they will see a slider which indicates a post. This widget is also helpful to get the reader’s attention. To install it on your blog go to Simple Reach and sign up for an account. There are better guides for it.

Linking a new post to older posts is another solution

It’s a process to promote older posts. When I publish a new article I always try to find an attractive keyword and link it with a relevant older post. By this way I drive traffic to my old posts. You can call it “Inter Linking”. There is another way to do this. You can go through your old posts, write a follow-up post and link it to the old posts.  Actually these processes give a new life to the older posts.

A better design can attract a reader’s mind

This is one of the most common tactics to get readership. If you can attract a reader’s mind, he will surf your whole blog. A blog with a better design, better layout can attract a reader easily. Nice design makes a reader curious about your blog. It also ensures the longer stay of a reader on your blog. So try to make a better design for your blog. If you can’t, hire a designer to do it. Attention! Better design does not mean to be full of fancy items. Try to get a clear and simple design.

Try to get a newsletter service for your blog

If readers get some help from your posts they will definitely subscribe to your email newsletter service. Newsletter service is a way which lets your subscribers know about your recent posts through email. It will help you to get some visitors in your new posts. Moreover, it makes a blog looking more professional. Almost every newsletter service is paid services. So if you have enough money to buy with it then get it. You can try Aweber or Mailchimp.  You can also use Feedburner as free email newsletter service.

Conclusion

Thanks for giving your time to read my article. I think this article will help you. But if you got any problem with it or want to share any other ideas then please comment.

How do you boost traffic to your blog? Getting traffic to a blog is something many bloggers are continually working on. Several basic writing and strategies can help. Keeping these things in mind will help you write quality posts to boost traffic to your blog.

Write High Quality Content

You may have heard before that producing high quality content is key in driving traffic to a blog. Think about who your audience is. Who do you want to reach with your posts? What would you want to find as a reader?  Use your writing skills to write for that audience. Keep your reader in mind as you write. For blogging in particular, let your natural voice come out. A conversational style will appeal to your reader, as will your use of humor, as appropriate, to also pull in those who visit your blog. Always keep in mind that you are not writing for yourself, and you are not writing for search engines. While the modest use of keywords will help your article be more easily found by search engines, over-using them will turn Google away. Have you ever heard the expression, “Content is king”? Well, that’s true. Writing quality posts, well-written and easy to read, with information that people want—that is what will help drive traffic to your blog.

Use Photos and Illustrations

Illustrating your blog posts will also help to bring traffic to your blog. The use of such media as photos, charts, maps, and videos will not only make your blog post more attractive to readers but will also engage your readers for longer periods of time. Search engines such as Google like this, as they see that readers are interested in staying on your pages. This influences how your blog is ranked by Google, resulting in another way to boost traffic to your blog.

Share Your Blog

As you keep writing high quality posts on your blog, how do you promote it? One way is to share your blog posts on social networks such as Twitter and Facebook. Share other sites such as Pinterest, LinkedIn, or Google Plus. There are a number of sharing sites out there, but don’t share with all of them, as your posts will be picked up by search engines as spam. Instead, consider your content, and share with relevant sites based on your topics. Another way to boost traffic to your own blog is to read other blogs. Find blogs that are similar to yours and make comments on them. Chances are that these other bloggers will make a return visit to your blog. Branch out to read other blogs of interest to you. As your network of bloggers grows, so will your readership. As you follow others, they will also follow you, thus naturally boosting traffic to your blog.

Keep writing to further develop your skills is a number one tip in successful blogging. Content really is king, so make your posts interesting and attractive to readers. Continue to write, to read, and to share, and you should see increased traffic to your blog.

Ranking on Google is what all webmasters want for their websites and the goal of each SEO agencies to increase a website’s organic visitors and convert these visitors into leads/clients. There are some strategies that were developed to boost your traffic in search engines but mostly, these are unethical and will not last longer in SEO. Ranking in Google particularly is not something that can be done easily and rapidly, it requires time, patience, and of course, one of a kind content!

On Page Optimization, SEO

Also, ranking in Google is not something that can be done through off-page optimization alone. You should also focus on the on-page strategy constantly than your offsite strategies as matt cuts once mentioned on this article. Google is changing the SEO industry and they are mainly focusing in providing the needs and what people are searching for through content. In order to support Google on their goal, pay attention to your onsite strategy by following some tips on ranking factors below.

Domain name and extension

Choosing a domain name is something that should be thought about seriously. As this will play a huge factor not only in your website ranking but also in your CTR in SERP. Having a short and descriptive domain name is one of the keys to give your website credibility online. Also, this is what people always look at in SERP; if your website is a .info extension and your domain name is rank-with-us.info, there is no way that your website will gain online reputation and will never succeed in its industry.

On-Page Optimization

Having your website properly optimized is also one of the essential factors that you must establish before you start building authority to your website. This will help search engine bots identify what your website is about and easily index your pages according to the onsite optimization that you performed. There are some parts of onsite optimization that you must focus on and these include:
  • Authorship Mark-up
  • Title Optimization
  • Meta Description
  • Keywords Placement
  • URL rewriting
  • Interlinking
  • Image ALT Attribute
Although these are not all parts of on-page optimization, these are still effective in 2013 after Google rolled out their major algorithm updates.

Website Frequency Update

Producing more content on your website in a regular basis is what Google always recommend. Google likes quality content and the more informative content your website has, the higher the credibility your website will gain. Furthermore, if your contents are promoted on social media by your regular readers and become viral, this is something that Google won’t be able to ignore.

Social Media Reputation

Links and social media signals are both considered as votes to a website. If you have several high quality links pointing to your website, you can then establish domain authority for your website. But if you also have more social media shares, likes and plus, you will even more establish not only domain authority but also your social media reputation. However, your social media signals may depend on how you write your content so make sure that you write a good one.

SEO has two sides, on page and off-page, if we pay attention on off-page only, we could negatively affect the search performance of our website. Although, link building was proven effective, Google is slowly putting an end to this. However, we can still practice off-page optimization but only through content distribution on picky and related websites in our industry to maintain natural linking.

SEO, 101, search engine optimization, basics
For anyone approaching the world of SEO for the first time it can be a rather daunting subject with intricacies that never fail to take newcomers by surprise. Knowing where to even get started is as always one of the trickiest matters of all, with a thousand and one tips, tricks and strategies on offer which all seem to stake claim to the same promises of glory.

It’s no wonder that newbies often feel like they’re making little to no progress on an uphill struggle or perhaps have hit a brick-wall and stopped altogether. However, experts agree that the best approach is always to start off as simple as possible in order to get to grips with the basics, before reaching for the stars with the complicated stuff to follow.

Here are five pointers to help those needing a nudge in the right direction – all of which can be put into action right away:

Content is King – Meaningful, Manual

The heart of any truly search engine-friendly website is its content – this is where the vast majority of credit will be awarded or taken away by Google and the other big names. What’s important is to realize that you must write every single word of content with the interests of actual readers in mind, never straying over the line to throw together content that Google might like instead. It must be manually written by experts in the field, engaging, relevant, current and constantly updated for the site as a whole to be looked upon with even the slightest degree of favor. Get the content right and you’re half way there – overlook its importance and you’re in for trouble.

Keyword Focus

Some argue that keywords have lost their power and don’t really curry much favor anymore, but frankly this is rubbish. After all, how exactly do search engines work if not by users entering keywords in order to find what they’re looking for? No, instead it’s a case of being sure to never overdo it with keywords and keep their presence down to about 2% at best, while at the same time knowing which to use. There are some keywords that are in such high demand that to reach and maintain a high Google ranking is nigh-on impossible, so exercise a little savvy and think more along specific, niche lines.

Use Outward Links

You’d be forgiven for thinking that all you need to pay any mind to is incoming links, but you’d also be wrong. While you don’t want to go offering all-too easy access to your rivals who are for all intents and purposes to steal your business, it’s important to show the search engine spiders that the readers are of primary importance to you. As such, include at least some outgoing links to relevant sites and content resources in order to demonstrate the point and reinforce your authority as a genuine site of value.

Incoming Links

And then of course come the incoming links – as the links posted on other sites that lead readers to your website. Building these links really isn't as easy as most expect and can prove to be a hugely involving and time-consuming endeavor, hence why so many bring in the pros to take over. However, whichever approach is chosen it is a worthwhile, perhaps vital step in the process as each genuine link from a relevant source means more points for you and your site. As far as your efforts are concerned, think posting links by way of article submission sites, forums, blogs, newsgroups and on social media pages to help spread the word and increase your search engine credit at the same time.

If you have an e-commerce store, you know that you need to bring in more traffic to increase your sales. There are many ways to strategically increase your traffic. You can pay for advertisement and do several online and offline promotions to let people know that you have good products and services and that they should patronize them. Another great tactic is by link building. Through link building, you are directing the internet users to your website by placing links on various platforms. You have to draw attention to your website because once a reader is in there, he can further be convinced to buy your products with the help of the information you provide on your product's page. Here are various ways of building back links.

1. Give gift ideas

Buying gifts is a daunting task for most people that they will gladly welcome any recommendation. Create a list of gift ideas and link them to the product's web page. Do this consistently for every season, like Christmas, Valentine, Anniversaries, Weddings, and others.

2. Product Review

Bloggers out there carry various niches. Connect with one that is apt for your product category and ask them to review your product in return for a free sample. Their reviews should, of course, link bank to your page. This is very effective as consumers love reading reviews before buying something.

3. Be included in online directories

There are free online directories that cater for e-commerce websites. You simply have to submit your site to them and you can start waiting for traffic to come. Some sites require some form of payment, but this can be worth it especially if that site is popular and often used by consumers.

4. Put up a contest

Another thing consumers love most is joining contests. You can hold your own or partner with a blogger. Offer to sponsor the prizes as long as your website and company is promoted in connection with the contest.

5. Join in forums

Buyers also frequent forums to discuss certain products and service providers. Since you are an expert on your product, then you can share that knowledge to forum members. It is also a chance to share links.

6. Comment on blogs

This may come to you as spamming, but it does not necessarily have to be that way. Only write relevant comments and do not provide links right away. Win the trust of the blog owner and other readers first and be very subtle when it is finally the right time to share links.

7. Guest post

Submit an article to other blog sites for free, provided that they allow you to include a link on the article. Bloggers will gladly welcome additional content to their sites for this small favor.

8. Create your own blog site

An e-commerce site will benefit well by having a blog site connected to it. You will not only be promoting your moneymaking site to your readers, but also to those whom the site was shared. That is instant back link to your site.

9. Join local associations

Being a member of a reputable organization also makes your business trustworthy. Your company's site will also be included and linked from the organization's site.

10. Offer deals and coupons

There are deals and coupon sites that update the public on current promotions. They include a link back to your site on their promotional tag lines, so aside from getting sales, you also get more traffic.
